2GIG Go!Control is 2011 Security Product of the Year

CARLSBAD, CA – March 25, 2011 – The Go!Control panel of 2GIG Technologies, the Carlsbad, CA-based developer of home security and related systems, has been recognized as the Security Product of the Year by the TechHome Division of the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA). The Mark of Excellence Awards program honors the best in home electronics products, services, and installed technology. Each year, manufacturers, distributors, and systems integrators enter to compete in award categories for this coveted honor judged by independent experts within the industry. Category winners were announced at the Mark of Excellence Awards Presentation, held March 18 during the EHX (Electronic House Expo) Spring event in Orlando, Florida at the Orange County Convention Center. According to Robert Archer, EH publisher, “The MOEs mean more than any other industry association award and they represent the best the electronics and installation professional industry has to offer.”

“This is a huge honor,” says Lance Dean, Co-Founder of 2GIG Technologies. “This recognition by the consumer electronics industry’s most important association validates that we have succeeded in making the most user-friendly, feature-rich home automation and security system on the market. We are committed to bringing innovative solutions to the market and feel the best is yet to come.”
