2GIG Technologies to feature its Go!Control color touch-screen panel at ISC West

April 07, 2011 – 2GIG Technologies, the Carlsbad, CA-based developer of home security and related systems and a Principal Member of the Z-Wave Alliance, will have its new Go!Control panel on display at ISC West. The color LCD touch-screen alarm panel is Z-Wave approved and supports most Z-Wave devices, such as locks, thermostats, and lighting modules.

The Go!Control panel is the industry’s first all-in-one security and home management system. It puts home control at a user’s fingertips, from its color touch-screen interface, to an online computer, to a web-enabled phone. A GSM (cellular) radio delivers the most reliable communication option (no more dependence on residential landlines). The panel integrates two-way voice, so central station professionals can listen in and talk to the homeowner. Expanding functionality to other residential systems is the built-in Z-Wave RF protocol, which enables control of lighting, HVAC, and other Z-Wave appliances with no need for extra hardware.

2GIG’s panel supports most Z-Wave devices and also a full line of wireless security peripherals (smoke and CO detectors, panic buttons, glass breaks, PIR motion detectors, and door/window contacts). The Go!Control features two hardwire zones, 48 wireless zones, eight user codes, and a 24-hour backup battery.
