In June, the Electronic Security Association (ESA) held its Electronic Security Expo (ESX) Virtual Experience, during which 2GIG® was named one of the winners in the 2021 ESX Innovation Awards for its 2GIG EDGE Security and Automation Panel in the Controllers and Control Panels subcategory.
2GIG joined the likes of other tech industry giants such as Axis Communications, Alula, Alarm.com, and Johnson Controls, in receiving recognitions during the awards ceremony.
The ESX Innovation Awards distinguishes innovation and excellence in the industry — and identifies the next-gen products and services that will offer significant opportunities for growth for integrator companies. The winning products and services were selected by an independent panel of judges based on a specific set of criteria, including ingenuity, applicability, response to market need and more.
Don Childers of Security Central led this year’s ESX Innovation Awards Judging Panel, which also included Grady Medcalf of Comcast, Michele Monheim of Amherst Alarm, Inc., and Rodger Reiswig of Johnson Controls.
“We are proud to highlight next-gen products and services that create new opportunities for security professionals to offer their end users,” says George De Marco, ESX chairman. “In addition, these winners offer innovative solutions for companies looking to effectively grow their revenues, improve the customer experience and maximize their profits.”
On behalf of the teams at 2GIG and Nice North America, we are thrilled with and humbled by this recognition. With its first-of-its-kind face recognition technology and improved UI and design, the 2GIG EDGE leads the pack in home automation.
