We might not have an actual “stay home” mode on our panels, but by using the “stay” button your customers can explore some of the great options our panels offer while enjoying the comfort of their home during COVID-19.

See five areas where you can increase security and peace of mind even during these uncertain times.

  1. Bypass Sensor

Use this in arm stay mode and you can open windows to let in fresh air, and not trigger an alarm when you’re letting your dog in and out.

  1. Garage Door Opener/Home Delivery

Using your panel or smartphone app, you can open and close your garage door to allow for deliveries. A homeowner will also know the package is safe in the garage and can leave it there for a few days as to avoid any touch contamination.

  1. Creating Scenes & Schedules

Since everyone is at home kids often forget to close the garage or lock doors in the evenings. Using the smartphone app or computer login, homeowners can setup a scheduled rule to shut the garage and/or lock the front door 30 minutes after sunset or at a particular time. They can also set alerts and rules around thermostat usage to keep energy and cost savings in check.

  1. Extra Safety with Gun Guard

With more kids at home, there’s a higher risk for accidents. Our gun guard helps to ensure the safety of your family and give you peace of mind. By adding a 2GIG Gun Motion Detector to any guns in the home, homeowners will receive a notification anytime the gun is moved.

  1. Securing Sensitive Areas

Simply add a Door Window sensor to sensitive areas like medicine cabinets, liquor cabinets, or safes. Using the panel or smartphone app, homeowners can set up alerts anytime these areas are opened.
